The Casper-Natrona County Health Department Maternal Child Health Nursing Team will be offering Preparing for Parenthood classes at our facility, 475 S. Spruce St., during numerous time throughout the year. Classes will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays. The next series of classes begins Thursday, June 4th.

The class topics include basic infant care, how to feed the baby, safe sleep, postpartum care and CPR and first aid training with participation in the class.

Classes are limited to eight participants per class, allowing for more interaction with the teaching team as well as other class participants.

We will provide numerous community resources to participants to assist them in finding services within the community.

We would like to thank the Blue Envelope Health Fund for providing us with funds for providing us with funds to offer these classes to the community without charge.
